Basic and Advanced Skills Course
1 day course
During this course you learn the basic skills to be able to safely negotiate advanced via ferratas. We take a look at basic rock climbing techniques that will help us in via ferrata terrain. We will learn to properly use via ferrata equipment and all the different uses, we talk about planning a via ferrata trip and most importantly we get a good preparation for it.

We will provide all the required equipment: Helmets, Ropes, Harnesses, etc.
If you have your own via ferrata/rock climbing gear, feel free to bring them along.
Note: Lunch is not provided. Please bring water and food for the day and warm clothes depending on weather predictions.

I've climbed quite a bit, and also in Spain, but never had the opportunity to do a multi pitch there. I was so happy when I found out about TivissaRocks, and even happier about the actual experience. Josep Maria is a great teacher! He has this patience and calmness that directly transfers over to you (which comes in very handy in climbing!), really taking his time to explain everything to you. You can tell he is a very experienced and hard climber, and I always felt very safe with him. My son has been on a competitive indoor climbing team for 2 yrs and is now transitioning to outdoor sport climbing. He had been obsessing about going to northern Spain to develop his skills, but I wanted to make sure he had professional guidance to do it safely. TivissaRocks was the perfect choice.
